Kibo Sale - Jhumki's efforts to Help Japan

Kibo means Hope in Japanese.

The Kibo SALE at Jhumki~designs by raindrops, is being held in order to collect donations for the disaster relief in Japan. Every little bit makes a difference. 50% of the sales will go towards the Red Cross earthquake/Tsunami relief for Japan. The rest of the 50% goes towards fees/cost of product/credit card fees towards donation etc. Proof of donation to Red Cross will be displayed on Jhumki's facebook page after the end of the sale. I am not really getting any profit out of this, it's all out of intention to be able to do something for people who have lost so much in this natural disaster.

Items range from $5 and up. Its not a big price to help a greater cause. If not for yourself, you never really need a reason to give someone a gift. Kindly, share the event with others. I will be posting more jewelry over the next few days.

Kesariya Balam - 'Saffron hued Lover'

A popular folk song from Rajasthan, from a woman's perspective calling out to her beloved yet most commonly sung in a male voice. The color saffron is symbolically associated with a few meanings, i.e. the color of the turban or clothing of her beloved, his skin color, or in praise of his Saffron-like virtues. The song has many different versions. This folk song is a means of expression and the voice of a woman's love since she by cultural and social restrictions is unable to openly express her love.

with precious speckles of the blue night (that the photographs do not do justice). The moonstones all range from AAA to A grade, as they beautifully line the necklace, and dangle from it.

Nilaruna - the first light of the day

This lovely necklace wears long, held by a delicate copper chain as a composition of gemstones admist the clouds of oxidized copper wire floats through forming the exquisite 'Nilaruna'. The gemstones used in this beauty include
~ Amethyst rondelles
~ Passion fruit purple Chalcedony
~ Hot pink faceted Chalcedony
~ Tangello Orange Carnelian
~ Sparkling Ruby Moonstone
~ Bright Purple Agate Slice.
Finished off by a copper clasp in the back that is hand bent into a lovely hook by myself. The length of the necklace can be adjusted to a shorter version by double looping. If you need it to be shorter or longer, feel free to convo me for the adjustment.
